Niki is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with over 15 years of experience working in the area of pelvic health and 9 years working in the area of TMJ. After receiving her BA in psychology from Denver University in 2004, Niki began working as a certified Pilates instructor and Wellness Coordinator for a local PT clinic where she was exposed to the specialty of pelvic health and collaborated with DPTs to establish exercise programs that were safe for women experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and/or recovering from pregnancy or other pelvic procedures. This sparked her passion for the specialty and in 2013 she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. As a student, Niki was the recipient of the prestigious Mary Gosnell Award for Clinical Excellence. During her clinical education experiences and for the next 12 years, Niki was mentored and employed by two leaders in the field, Dr. Lori Buxton, PT, DPT, WCS and Dawn Sandalcidi, PT, RCMT, BCB-PMD. In July 2020, Niki opened Popper PT within Fertile Ground Wellness Center.
Dr. Popper’s post-doctoral continuing education has focused primarily on pelvic health, prenatal and postpartum care. Doula Carolyn Butler

As a CAPPA and DONA certified birth doula, Carolyn is committed to ensuring that people have the most positive births possible and are empowered by their experiences. Education and information are critical to making the best choices about birth options and possible interventions. Having a birth doula also provides a continuity of support throughout pregnancy, labor and birth and evidence shows this creates better outcomes. Even though birth is unpredictable, she is committed to my clients having empowering and satisfying experiences around their births.
Why Did Carolyn Become a Doula?
Carolyn has spent much of her life caring for babies, when she discovered the Doula world she was delighted to learn she could have a career in something she was so passionate about and had so much experience with. Everyone can have an empowering birth experience and Carolyn strives to give her clients the tools to make this possible.
Carolyn’s committment to providing appropriate and much needed services for postpartum period, helps her support new parents in their homes for the first few weeks (or months) until they are ready to “fly” on their own. She supports families with single babies and multiples to flourish on their own at home.
I have attended many births with Carolyn and many post partum visits. I am continually in awe of her knowledge base and her ability to calm her clients with her grounding and nuturing demeanor. She has extensive experience with so many different aspects of labor, birth and the postpartum period that there is little she has not encountered. My families that use Carolyn’s services sing her praises. They feel so secure and confident having had her as their birh and postpartum doula. If you’re searching for some nurture and wonderful tips and support surrounding your birth and postpartum experience consider and interview with Carolyn.

Just Be Kitchen

My number one pick in Denver for delicious clean amazing Wild Fertility Food is Just Be Kitchen. You’re going to love it!!!
The charming casual atmosphere with adorable frames filled inspirational sayings about the walls are the first things you will love about Just Be Kitchen, but definitely not the last..
Everything on the menu is free of gluten, grain, soy, corn and refined sugars, they use coconut oil as the main cooking fat and extra virgin olive oil for dressings and roasting. All proteins on the menu are the highest quality including; grass fed beef, humanely raised chicken, pastured eggs and pork without antibiotics. Don’t give a thought to what you can and can’t eat on the menu, its all clean and nutritious!
The first thing I tried was the Inspire Mediterranean Plate. It includes delicious falafel made with inflammation fighting turmeric, insanely good cauliflower hummus and the most amazing house made pickles and sweet potato salad. You will fall head over heels in love with the grain free tortilla, so order one to go, you will take it home and wrap everything else you can find in it!
I have since tried just about everything else on the menu and found each item to be unique and exquisite while full of flavor and including amazing nutrients.
Save some room for the fantastic array of nut and vegetable flour, grain-free baked goods/ desserts like this heavenly cinnamon cupcake made with almond and coconut.
Owner, Jennifer Peters, is delightful as is her friendly, kind and knowledgeable staff.
She designed her menu to include “comfort foods done in a mindful way” rather than the typical “health food” restaurant. She has designed incredibly nutrient dense recipes for things like biscuits, burgers and burritos. The result is phenomenal and delicious!
Jennifer strongly believes in the emotional connection to the eating experience so she even named her beautiful culinary creations after “different states of well-BEing.” Who doesn’t want to eat a dish called “divine” or “wonder”?!
