| Jennifer Zorich, LMT, CD Licensed Massage Therapist Certified Doula
Jennifer has worked with women and families for the last five years, providing support as a doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding counselor. Inspired to help other women after the 2004 birth of her son, she sought certification through ALACE/tolabor. She chose this program because she felt it was the most thorough of all the doula certifications available. In 2005, she began volunteering at the DC Developing Families Center in Washington, DC. Working with Certified Nurse Midwives at Washington Hospital, she provided women and families labor and breastfeeding support. During this time, she also began her own practice, attending births in Maryland, Virginia and DC, in hospitals, homes and birth centers. Jennifer feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to support women in a variety of settings and with many different care providers, from obstetricians to traditional midwives.

In
2008, she moved from the Washington, DC area to Colorado and enrolled
in The Healing Arts Institute in Ft. Collins. She graduated as a
certified massage therapist in 2009. Jennifer resumed her doula
practice in 2010 and divides her time between Northern Colorado and the
Denver Metro area. She works as a massage therapist, breastfeeding
counselor, childbirth educator and doula at Fertile Ground Integrated
Wellness Center in Washington Park. In June of 2010, she accepted a
position at Colorado State University as a breastfeeding counselor,
hours she will apply to becoming an IBCLC.
